About Us

Janine King is the owner and operator of Hairs Rok Wallsend established in 1991. With over 40 years experience in the hairdressing industry Janine has completed multiple courses and is a certified Redken Hair Colorist. Janine traveled to Las Vegas in 2013 to experience the Redken education symposium.

Sophie has 16 years experience in the industry and has completed her Goldwell Color Master Certification.  Sophie is outgoing, confident and passionate about all things hair. Sophie enjoys doing all things blonde, balayage, baby lights, root stretches and colour correction.

Cassandra  is a mum of four boys. Cass is passionate about fitness, healthy eating, she loves working with her hands and being creative with her 25 years of experience. Cassie’s specialty is curly hair and she educate's her clients on how to maintain their curls. Her hairdressing is very visual rather than structured!

Shelby is a talented senior stylist specialising in blondes , balayage ,colour correction and on scalp lightning. Shelby did her apprenticeship at Kenrick's and later worked as a senior Stylist at Pandora's mastering more amazing hair. Shelby is excited to bring her skills and passion to Hairs Rok delivering exceptional results tailored to each guest.
